President Hugo Chavez, the fiery populist who declared a socialist revolution in Venezuela, crusaded against U.S. influence and championed a leftist revival across Latin America, has died at age 58 after a two-year battle with with cancer. During more than 14 years in office, Chavez routinely challenged the status quo at home and internationally. He polarized Venezuelans with his confrontational and domineering style, yet was also a masterful communicator and strategist who tapped into Venezuelan nationalism to win broad support at home and abroad, including in Cuba, Belarus and Iran. It was only four months ago that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez won his presidential re-election and on Tuesday he was pronounced dead after an ongoing battle with cancer. Chavez claimed victory with 54 percent of the vote in 2011 and RT's Lucy Kafanov was there when it all went down. She joins us now to recap his passing and gives us some insight as to who his successor might be.

Mr. Savage do not forget "What we seed we will reap" and when you see a "filthy pig" in a person - it is the reflection of yourself. That is how the cosmos works.

Michael Savage has always been a shill for the GOP. I agree with your sentiments though about "As ye sew, so shall ye reap". He was one of the voices that has done a lot to fan up the post 9/11 hysteria, helped to sell the wars in the Mid East, and demonize anyone who challenged government policy. We are now indeed starting to feel the outcome.

ReplyDeletewell indeed the name savage is quite appropriate for the person in question he is indeed a savage, and on a civilize world savages usually act and react instinctively, reason and logic is often lacking, as a savage animal is closer to a savage beast, desperate for food or any other item. however the problem with savages is that they are able to say what they like but not act as they please.

ReplyDeleteI just cannot believe some supposedly smart people still fall for this communist / populist propaganda , you very well know who is behind the communist ideology , who financed it and who used it to create revolutions in Europe and end the European monarchies and replaced them with the Illuminati elite ...I mean come on , the COMMUNISM is the biggest achievement of the ILLUMINATI , wake up ...populists and communists like Chavez and Castro are just keeping the masses under control while the banksters are sucking them dry from their resources , it is the same thing with the UNIONS , who in western Europe still believe that the UNIONS are truly working for the interest of the workers ??? people in western Europe are waking up to this fact and have found that during those last 50 years the unions worked for the interests of the capitalists they were claiming to combat ...their role was to keep the masses of workers in check for the bankers to exploit ...today almost nobody in western Europe believe the propaganda of the Unions ...wake up Chavez is the same school ....Michael Savage is RIGHT on this one
