IDLE NO MORE Protests in Canada gaining Momentum
Canada's Idle No More movement's national protest took place yesterday. One of the aboriginal chiefs continued her hunger strike demanding to meet with the governor general. Canada is a constitutional monarchy under the British queen. This Canadian government has been much more concerned with economic matters and has been rather selective in matters relating to human rights much more than previous Canadian governments. In Canada there is a huge democratic deficit. There is a non-responsive federal government.
